ABOUT US
Port St. Lucie Bible Church held its first services in a living room, in January of 1988. One of the stated goals was to have a church "where the family is brought, and the Bible is taught". This motto has become the standard by which all our activities are evaluated. Every activity is designed to strengthen the family and promote sound Bible teaching.

In 1997, "Phase One" of our building project (a 3,200 square foot multi-purpose building), was completed. It was during this time that the vision for a Christian School was added to the scope of ministry for the church and Barnabas Christian Academy, under the direction of Cynthia Bartal, took shape.

In August of 2006, we saw the completion of a 6,000 square foot "Phase Two" of our building project take place. This new facility adds classrooms, offices, library, nursery, and an auditorium that more than doubles our capacity for ministry in all areas.

Our facilities have changed, but our goals have not. We continue to strive to be a place where families can be encouraged and strengthened as they raise their children and where believers can be equipped and enabled to use their gifts and talents to serve the Lord.
